  • To develop a plan for Medicaid risk opportunities

  • Seek opportunities to grow the SEHP footprint across SC

Objectives

  • Collaborate with payors and employers in innovative ways to deliver more products to the market

  • Engage the Upstate business community in an active dialogue regarding value-based care

  • Develop a Medicare Advantage strategy for optimal performance

  • Engage Medicaid providers on value-based structures

  • Determine key strategic areas for expansion

Goal Statement

  • To improve the value, based upon quality performance and total cost of care, of the healthcare for our members

  • Create longitudinal member data to the point of care

Objectives

  • Establish defined key measures of SEHP performance to be presented systemically across all value-based contracts

  • SEHP will perform at the ‘Top Decile’ in SEHP quality measures

  • Exceed the national Milliman loosely managed benchmark for cost and utilization performance

  • Develop and deploy an infrastructure that drives longitudinal member data to the point of care

Goal Statement

  • To provide opportunities to expand the value-based programs which result in a positive strategic impact for the participating CINs and owner system

  • To be the CIN (providers) of choice for payors and employers in the Upstate market

  • Active governance structure that supports a performance culture driving towards change and best practice sharing

  • Achieving the highest results on the quality programs with payor partners

  • Improve the understanding and knowledge of SEHP with key provider stakeholders

  • Leverage the SEHP tools to drive enhanced insights which are made readily available on a recurring bases and integrated with the local CIN
